ALICE out OF WONDERLAND

Art Experiential Workshop – ABC Biennale Outreach Feb 2023

Alice in Wonderland is the fictional journey of a child at the cross roads, stepping into adolescence. Alice’s journey is about curiosity, innocence, vulnerability, logic and illogic, changing emotions, fear and authority, obstacles that arise, and the meaning of magic.

Participants are guided through the imaginary rabbit hole to explore personas and situations just as Alice did, correlate the same with their own life experiences, and arrive at the shifts in perception and understanding required to empower them in real life.

This two-day workshop is a fun, yet therapeutic journey, aided by role play, poetry, art, and writing by Anuradha Nalapat, Ammu Nalapat and Aruna Prabhu for The Stillness Project.  Deeply grateful to @Bose krishnamachari, @Blaise joseph, the biennale team members and @Sherin mathew, principal of St Antonys school and the teachers for this wonderful opportunity.
