About the project

The Stillness Project aims to support efforts to help children gain a deep understanding of the ecosystem in which they live; develop a sense of wonder, respect and empathy for everything that is part of that ecosystem – the earth, plants, animals, and people – and to instill creativity and compassion into their daily lives.

In an age where many of the old ways are dying and values eroded-much like the top soil- it is hoped that this project will help arrest this trend, and perhaps resurrect these at least in the hearts and minds of the next generation.

I came across this project details from an article in The Hindu..I believe it has the elements of The Stillness Project which is popular in the western countries. I hope that it becomes a wave and challenges the present day education system.
It was accidental I came across this article in my hunt for my grandmother’s student ‘Sulu’s’ contact details. My grandmother, C.K Rosy ,teacher at Little Flower Convent,Guruvayoor, in her late 80’s .Kindly give me a contact address so that she can reach you.

Sorry if this is not the right place to seek the same..

    Thank you

    Remya Babu.
