Poet : Neerada Saseendran
Hope of course is a ray of light
That penetrates into heart through body
I hope for many things
Rides along bridges and river sides
Doing fearless risky trespassing
Into people’s minds
And see how just they are
Love to dream going to dense forest
Yes to enjoy forest bathing
Hope to fall freely like meteors in the sky
Love weightlessness
Hope to find an everlasting peak of chocolate
So that I can chew non stop
For long days
Hope for tunings of heavenly music
That keeps me highly enthralled
Hope for goodness of understanding
Between me and others
It brings ease of life
Hope for trust turned into admiration
For God of course is different for me
God is just a belief for some
God is utmost a shelter for some
God is a powerful anchor for some
God is of course a reason for hatred
God is a show piece at some houses
God is a personal boasting for some
God is a puppet for some
God is a person close to heart for some
God does not wait for your prayers
God listens to the murmur of your heart
God does not listen to your chants
God feels the compassion of your mind
God does not care your offerings
God listens to the kindness in your eyes
God is the godliness in your actions
